Writing for Film, Television & Digital Media Collaboratives & Internships

Collaboration is the heartbeat of the motion picture industry—and it drives everything you’ll do in the School of Writing. On soundstages and in classrooms, you’ll work side by side with directors, producers, writers, actors, production designers, cinematographers, and editors to bring stories to life. 

Beyond campus, you could earn credit working as a development intern for professional producers, directors, and writers. 

Through our Production Hub classes, you’ll also collaborate with San Francisco’s Fire, Police, and Sheriff’s departments, forest rangers, and a range of private clients to create PSAs and commercials seen around the globe.
